Living on the driest continent on earth makes you realise how sacred and important the rain is. A lot of my paintings are inspiered by nature and the earth- the fusion between earth and water- the beautiful estuaries which surround the island I live on. The bay I travel over each time I go to the mainland.
The wildlife here is so abundant, and nearby Stradbroke island is a haven for waterbird and a multitude of flora/fauna. It's truly magical.
I think it's a good time to showcase a few of the pieces I have painted over the past 12 months which have been inspired by this magical world of ours.
