It has taken a few months to get her up- and these photos are NOT conclusive- we have since had the concrete laid and the windows and doors put in :)
It includes skylights all along the roof for lots of natural light which is essential for an artist!
We are also looking at getting a slow-combustion wood heater for winter as being a Leo, I love snuggling up next to a nice glowing stove.
Wintertime we may have some aircon- will have to work on the rooms yet and possibly section off an area for cooling as I like too spend a lot of time in the studio and the temperature is a crucial thing!
To top it off will be one of our leather sofas, a nice little tea and coffee area , complete with handcarved Tunisean Chess Set and table!!! (love my chess! keeps the mind active!)
The walls are 3 metres high- the roof is around 3.5 metres High
The photos don't really do justice to the sheer size of the studio- I think the best idea is when you look at the land before the earth was dug and compare it to the trees- it takes up most of the block!
It's the biggest to be had without going industrial! We tried for bigger but the councils have size restrictions , of course lol. Eventually we will have to buy an inner city warehouse!
Coming Soon! The Studio Complete!
