Sej & Renfield- EBAY GOLD POWERSELLERS!

Powerseller status as at August 23rd, 2008!

I wanted to take a little moment to thank all of my collectors over the past few years, who have helped support my art in its development and not only that, but also propelled the business of Sej & Renfield into GoldPOWERSELLER status!

It is not easy to reach these heights, but to this very day we are STILL Gold POWERSELLERS!

SO THANK YOU! To all who have shown us encouragement, support and love- without you we would not we where we are today and I would not have become the successful artist I am today!

Of course thank you goes to Robert and his family who have given me immeasurable support, in every possible way... you are my closest friends, family, and kin.

With the support of collectors worldwide, my art has grown in size and popularity!

And now we have worked to a level where it justify's us owning our very own studio!

NO MORE RENT! Which is amazing and rare to have at such an early stage in my art career.

Even though I have been painting for many years it is only the past 4-5 that I have been selling so regularly and now at the stage of selling at times 3 paintings a day!

Special thanks go out to some of the collectors really have a special place in my heart, particularly Ray in New York, whose heartfelt thanks, and words of encouragement has driven me to this day!

Commissions are always flooding in, and new requests from all over the world!

THANK YOU for everything! My aim is to continue to grow and develop in time, entering more art awards and shows and hopefully one day, going to next step from being a finalist, to actually winning a major prize! I wish to do this for all of my collectors and friends!

Studio- a work in progress!

This is our beloved new studio, being built from the ground up!

It has taken a few months to get her up- and these photos are NOT conclusive- we have since had the concrete laid and the windows and doors put in :)

It includes skylights all along the roof for lots of natural light which is essential for an artist!

We are also looking at getting a slow-combustion wood heater for winter as being a Leo, I love snuggling up next to a nice glowing stove.

Wintertime we may have some aircon- will have to work on the rooms yet and possibly section off an area for cooling as I like too spend a lot of time in the studio and the temperature is a crucial thing!

To top it off will be one of our leather sofas, a nice little tea and coffee area , complete with handcarved Tunisean Chess Set and table!!! (love my chess! keeps the mind active!)
The walls are 3 metres high- the roof is around 3.5 metres High

The photos don't really do justice to the sheer size of the studio- I think the best idea is when you look at the land before the earth was dug and compare it to the trees- it takes up most of the block!

It's the biggest to be had without going industrial! We tried for bigger but the councils have size restrictions , of course lol. Eventually we will have to buy an inner city warehouse!
Coming Soon! The Studio Complete!

UPCOMING EXHIBITION!!!

I will be exhibiting later this month in Bondi Beach, Sydney.
The exhibition will be for 3 weeks at a prominant Gallery!
I will be sending personal invitations to all my collectors in the Sydney area- if you are going to be in the area let me know I will send you an invitation too, via snail mail!
I will also be emailing many invations and there will be around 500 people invited so it should be an amazing opening!

My sister will be in Sydney at the time- she works for Murdoch, is the NSW manager for Domain online advertising which is quite amazing! High pressure I am sure with all of those people working under you and so much to control....
I will be sending her some invitations and see if she can wrangle a few extras for the opening! Should be fun!

I am still preparing for the big move- the studio is all ready to move in- just some issues to sort through first then we are on our way! I can't wait- it is going to be amazing and I am so looking forward to all that extra space!!!

I'll have to post a photo or two of the finished space once we get there!

I have a few new projects underway-
* an album cover for a friend in the UK
* ETSY
* and something new to ebay soon!!!

Oh it's my birthday soon :) I'll be turnin 34!!! Crazyyyy!!!

Had an amazing weekend with some friends and it was a little naughty... we were drinking Absinthe shots as the spoon went "missing" so we had to improvise! It was kind of crazy and we were listening to Hendrix "Rainbow Bridge"..... The shots were lighting up the room with blue flames. Absinthe is tasty- has an aniseed flavour... and slightly sweet.

Also Rob and I bashed out a few songs on the guitar- was amazing to hear him sing again as he is just amazing- we were all stomping our feet and dancing and cheering and Dan was saying "you should be on JJJ" lol it was so much fun!

Crazy times in the morning- they were hungover and went to MOVIEWORLD for some rides as it was Dan's little sister's birthday... crazy crazy crazy I don't know how they managed to get on any rides let alone all that noise!

Well... time for me to go and get back to the studio-

LOTS of packing!

Adios babeeees...
